On 25th July the
East District Open Water convenor Andrea Gellan will be heading
to Dover where she hopes to swim
the English channel
solo. The swim will take place some time between 26th July and
9th of August, depending on
the weather,
The charity that she hopes to raise money for whilst doing
this swim is 'Help for Heroes'.
Help For Heroes
supports soldiers and other servicemen and women from modern
conflicts, both directly and through
its support of other
service charities .
