Excellent result for The East District Team at the British Gas ASA National County Team Championships

Congratulations to the East District Team who finished in 6th place in Division 1 at the British Gas ASA National County Team Championships.

Notable swims included those by Craig McLean who finished 1st in both the Boys 12/13 Yrs 100m Freestyle (in a time of 00:54.27), and the Boys 12/13 Yrs 100m Backstroke, (in a time of 01:00.55). Daniel Lim’s 3rd place in the Boys 16/17 Yrs 100m Breaststroke (with a time of 01:04.38), Iain Rose, who finished in 4th place in the Boys 14/15 Yrs 100m Breaststroke (with a time of 01:07.38) and Lucy Hope, 4th in the Girls 14/15 Yrs 100m Backstroke (with a time of 01:03.40)

Sad news

Loss of East District and Fife Stalwart

As most of you know, Barbara Robertson, who served East District and Fife as a Technical Official and helper, sadly passed away last Sunday.

Barbara’s funeral will be on Monday 29th at 11:00 at Dysart Cemetery.

Our thoughts go to Barbara’s family and friends.
