Craig follows in David’s footsteps

Tales from the Archives

40 years ago we had a promising young swimmer from Warrender Baths setting off to Munich for the '72 Olympics. David Wilkie swam his heart out for GB and did not disappoint with a silver medal in the 200m Breaststroke. This year we have another promising young swimmer from Warrendar Baths Club going to the Olympics in London. Another connection is his speciality is Breaststroke also and I am sure the District will want to wish Craig Benson every success and hope he has a great Olympic experience.
