Sky Ride is coming to Edinburgh on Saturday 8th September

Sky Ride Comes to Edinburgh

Sky Ride Edinburgh is a traffic free bike ride, around the city, taking in some of the most iconic landmarks. There will be loads to do on the day and even a chance to meet Sir Chris Hoy who will be joined at the event by Sky Ride Ambassador Edith Bowman.

The 10km route will take iconic sights and landmarks including the Scottish Parliament,Holyrood Palace and Arthur's Seat. The route will be open and traffic-free from 9.30am to 3.30pm allowing you to take part in the ride at your own pace. With no official start point or start time, you can ride as much or as little of the route as you want.

Following Sky Ride Edinburgh, we are delighted to bring you Sky Ride local. This is a series offree group bike rides across Edinburgh, with local routes in parks and on tracks and trails. With British Cycling trained Ride Leaders on hand to offer encouragement and support, it’s a great way for families and friends to get together and explore the city. Paralympics Bronze for East Lothian Swim Team’s James Clegg

James Clegg both won bronze in the S12 100m butterfly. 18-year-old Clegg touched out in a close finish to claim third in 1:00.00 after turning at the halfway point in fifth.

Congratulations to James!
