InCAS hosted their annual Distance Meet on 26 & 27 May at Carnegie Centre, Dunfermline, with some outstanding displays of distance swimming on offer.
Four Scottish National Age Group Records were broken over the course of the two days with the host Club’s own Lauren Pirouet breaking three records within the Girls 12 Years 400m (4:34.54 during her 800m freestyle) and further reducing this during her 400m freestyle the following day to a time of 4:30.82. She also smashed the 800m Freestyle record by 12 seconds to touch in on 9:14.09. Congratulations are also extended to Suleman Butt of Aberdeen ASC also succeeding in establishing a new record for the Male 14 Years 1500m Freestyle in a time of 16:03.60.
Further District records and a plethora of personal best times were also achieved, with Warrender Baths taking the accolade of Top Club.
