It's Gold for Scotland's Grace Reid

Grace Reid took gold in the1m springboard diving event at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, to become Scotland's first ever female Commonwealth Games medallist and the first diving Gold Medallist for 60 years.

The results were confirmed with Reid coming out on top with a new personal best score of 275.30. Georgia Sheehan (AUS and Esther Qin (AUS) won silver and bronze respectively.


Reid is back in action tomorrow in the 3m springboard event.


Earlier in the day James Heatly and Lucas Thomson paired up for the 10m Synchro Platform, which was a straight final. They were solid across all six dives and finished 5th with a points tally of 369.60.
