We are saddened to learn of the sudden passing of Charlie Raeburn.
Charlie dedicated his life to sport, as a PE teacher, PE adviser, Sport and Recreation Manager, Chair of Local Authorities PE Network, Chair of Scottish School Sport Federation, Member of the Scottish Executive PE Review; Member of the Scottish Parliament Cross Party Group on Sport, the list goes on.
Charlie 
also volunteered throughout his adult life, with many years spent coaching swimming, with some notable names amongst his swimming alumni, not least of all, David Wilkie.
